Bos Fine Art_The Hague

Travelling 30+ hours from the southern hemisphere to attend the opening of TZT038 at Bos Fine Art was definitely worth the trip. Gallerists Paul and Marianne Bos made us feel welcome and the opportunity to meet and speak with fellow artists in The Hague region was excellent. It was through a chance meeting with Paul Bos in New York that this show, about a year later, has come to fruition.

The exhibition space is filled with natural light and overlooks Hofkapel. One of the iconic buildings of Den Haag, surrounded by water. As part of my residency here this week I look forward to visiting the studios of some of the artists I met last night and commence some discussions about future collaborations whilst observing their process and works in progress.

It is no small task to have the exhibited works produced in the Netherlands some months prior and freighted to the gallery without being able to cast an eye over them til the hang. I am grateful to Wilcovak for their exceptional production efforts.
